Short film ‘Sisak’ is the silent sob of an LGBTQ love story
Faraz Arif Ansari’s ‘Sisak’ is India’s first silent LGBTQ love story showcasing the emotional tension between two individuals.
The official teaser of the movie was released by Sonam Kapoor on Twitter on 30 January. The film will be showcased at various film festivals and is expected to be premiered at Cannes in May.
Sisak follows the thread of two young men (Jitin Gulati and Dhruv Singhal) who take the same local train home every day and by each passing day they get closer to each other, at the verge of saying something but never dared or had the courage to open their mouths.
Ansari drew inspiration from his own experiences to write and direct the film.
