Kangana-Karan Johar clash divides Twitter

Kangana Ranaut is popularly known as the arrogant queen of Bollywood because she has got the guts to put forward her opinion to anyone irrespective of hierarchy. Karan Johar, no offence intended seems to be proud of his hold within Bollywood as he claims that he has introduced many actors to the industry who have shot to fame and are presently at the peak of their career.

After Kangana Ranaut landed into a legal fight with Bollywood star, Hrithik Roshan she seems to have crashed into a fresh piece of fight with Karan Johar as well.

Karan Johar vs Kangana Ranaut is officially one of the most debated topics on the Internet these days.

The duo has also divided twitter into two halves, Kangana supporters and KJo supporters. After Karan Johar said he's "done with Kangana playing the woman and victim card" and suggested she should "leave the industry" if she can't handle it.

When most of them applauded Kangana on being so bold and straight on Karan’s show, Koffee With Karan, poeple slammed the actresses for titling Karan as the “flagbearer of nepotism” and claimed he belonged to “Bollywood mafia”.

She said, "Karan, you must play the villain in my biopic, if it's ever made." She also reminded him of when he had mocked her English accent. Days after this episode aired, Karan Johar was interviewed by film critic Anupama Chopra at a pre-event for the LSE-SU India Forum, where he said he was "done with Kangana playing the woman and victim card" and that he had provided her a platform to speak.

Hours after the interview hit the notch, Twitter divided itself. Many were offended by Karan's sexist usage, ‘woman card' and his advice that she should quit Bollywood. Others said that "being 'opinionated' and 'outspoken' is not Kangana's exclusive right."

Now let us take a look at team Kangana

Karan Johar recently became father to twins via surrogacy - he's named his son Yash and daughter Roohi. The 44-year-old filmmaker is awaiting the release of Badrinath Ki Dulhania, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan.
