Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan on his 74th birthday, refused to respond on banning Pakistan artistes in India. Upon being asked about the ban, he said: “This is not the time, and I don’t think it’s right to put forward such questions.”
He also said that this is time for India to express solidarity with soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the security of the nation. In the wake of the ongoing militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Big B said that the citizens of the nation are irked with the recent incidents in the border state.

Earlier that day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm greetings to Bollywood megastar on his birthday, saying his versatility and humility has many admirers.
Following PM, Union ministers like Rajnath Singh and M Venkaiah Naidu also took to Twitter to convey their greetings to Bachchan.
"Birthday wishes to Shri Amitabhji @SrBachchan who is one of the finest actors of our country. May he be blessed with good health & long life," Singh tweeted.
