Wriddhiman Saha, the Indian wicket keeper, has made his return to the team after injury in style. He made a ton and that too completed by smashing a six. This is his second Test hundred. Overjoyed Saha raised his arms in jubilation to celebrate his fete as the his team mates made a standing ovation. Soon after Saha made his ton, Jadeja too completed his fifty.
India has made a giant total of 681 for 6 and is continuing the batting with no signs of declaration.
Since after assuming the charge as Captain Kohli has become more ferocious and that was well evident in the long innings he had played against Bangladesh in the one-off Test here at Hyderabad. He had played a captain's knock and made a stunning double ton in no quick time.
More, he also has become the first batsman in the world to have scored four double tons in four successive series. The ascension to double ton was quick as Kohli, who scored a marvelous hundred on Thursday, joined with Ajinkya Rahane in the morning. The two had added 222 runs in 49.5 overs before Rahane caught out. He made a decent 82 and give a befitting reply to the critics who questioned his inclusion leaving triple ton maker Karun Nair.
After making an envious double ton, Kohli has fallen to Taijul Islam. It was a fuller delivery from Islam that prompted Kohli for a late cut. A high risk shot from the Indian skipper turned disastrous. He walks off the crease even not minding to go for reviewing it. He is such sure of the mistake he has done.
Ravichandran Ashwin joins the crease with Wridhiman Saha, who is on 9. The total has already gone upto 500 and it is only a matter of time to Kohli to decide to declare the innings and allowing the Bangladeshi to bat.
