Harmanpreet Kaur has smashed the ball to all sides in a confident reign to make a bewildered India in the middle to a total of 282 in a truncated 42 over semi-final match against Australia.
India before went on against the mightiest Australia has nothing to pride off as they have lost their 34 out of 42 games. Mithali Raj led side however were looked little scary at the start of the innings and this has costed two early wickets of Smriti Mandhana and Poonam Raut.
Mithali and Kaur did a rescue mission at the very early of the innings and duo built around runs through singles, doubles and occasional boundaries. It was after Mithali fell after making valuable 36 that Kaur took the rein in her hand. She taking the company of Deepti Sharma unleashed an attack that in a sense ferocious and demolishing. Aussie bowlers could not do much once Kaur rocketed to her form. Her Big Bash days in Australia surely have helped her to whip the leather all around the park.
With a score that is quite a difficult one to achieve for a side of Australia it is with the India bowlers that hangs the fate of entering to their first final in Women's World Cup cricket.
