Indian women cricket team captain Mithali Raj is a clas spersonified. She is such a cool captain as seen in a video a match few weeks ago at Derby.
While India was batting out in the middle, the skipper is seen reading a book on the fringes of boundary at the County Ground in Derby. Since then she has been termed by the team as Captain Cool. The sight of Mithali engrossed in a book while keeping an eye on the proceedings in the middle certainly caught attention, as social media was flooded with how ‘cool’ the India Women’s captain is.
She said then that reading cools her temper and help her to stay calm.
On the morning of the semi-finalmatch between Australia and India in Derby, the Captain Cool has another book at her hand. Since it is a crucial match as a win would make India taking England in the finals for the first time in Women's World Cup, Mithali took the book of legendary England captain not only to cool off for sure but to plan the game according to the given condition. Twitter had that picture of Mithali holding former England Men's captain Nasser Hussain's autobiography "Playing with Fire".
Strong book choice for India's Mithali Raj said the tweet tagging Nasser.
And the coolest reply from Nasser had come within minutes. And it said "Not much in that book about how to win a World Cup semi I'm afraid !! Let's hope she doesn't read the bit on what to do at the toss either."
