Priyanka Chopra, has joined group of artists in questioning the ban imposed on the ban of Pakistani artistes in India. She said it is not justified that actors alone are forced to bear the brunt of political issues.
Priyanka Chopra’s comment came after Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) barring Pakistani actors in the film Industry and the screening of any movie with them, after the of Uri attack on 18th September 2016.
Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India said they will not run the reels for any films featuring Pakistani artistes in four states — Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Gujarat, thus blocking the release of Karan Johar’s recent movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which is to be released on 28th October, 2016.
