Apart from the protesters, Trump has got fans round the world who are happy about him being the President of United States of America especially at Suprabaa, a modest hotel located at Valluvar Salai in Ramapuram of Tamil Nadu. C.P. Mukund Das, restaurant owner confesses that he is a great fan of Donald Trump and has introduced “White Dosa” at his restaurant to pay respect to the newly elected President.

The dosa has become the hot pick of the eatery, customers ordering for their hot plate of “White Dosa” priced for Rs.50. A predominantly-white dosa, with a generous inside coating of Thousand Island Dressing (salad dressing) and chilli flakes.

I’m a huge fan of Trump, especially his speeches and facial expressions, and have always wanted him to win the U.S. elections. I decided that if he won, I’d come up with a tribute to him in my restaurant
Mr. Mukund

The dosa is served hot, on a banana leaf surrounded by varities of chutneys and a dish of sambhar not to forget a bowl full of butter to add richness to the dosa.

“Since we announced it with a banner outside our restaurant, many curious onlookers come in, specifically for the Trump special,” beams Vippin Purushothaman, marketing manager, adding that about 130 Trump dosas are being dished out every day to customers.

“If an artist likes a celebrity, he could paint him/her as a tribute. But, as a hotelier, all I can do is introduce a new dish and name it after the person, right?”

A huge poster of the newly elected president is at the entrance of the restaurant starting at you as you enter the place. The menu card specifically announces the latest addition of Trump Dosa to the list.
