Journalist Piers Morgan has opened his critical mouth once again, tagging the 2017 Grammy Awards Beyonce performance to be more of ‘narcissism than music’ and has gone far criticising her acceptance speech to be ‘awful’. As the tradition Twitter had its troll day today with Morgan being targeted by Beyonce fans from all over the world.
While the entire world loved Beyonce’s performance of the elegant moves and the baby bump flauntings, piers morgan was hunting for critical words to post on the social media platform, in want of some attention.
When netizens began attacking him for his puny use of language, he went to the extent of commenting that people were forced to like Beyonce’s performance though they secretly agree to his comment on her narcissistic approach.
Beyonce who won for her album “Lemonade” was criticised for her acceptance speech.
He also added another chapter to Beyonce vs Adele as he wrote about the Hello singer, “Got to love her. Huge talent, huge heart, huge personality.”
Adele who had a shocking victory over Beyonce won all five Grammys for which she was nominated, including for her comeback album “25” and her single “Hello.” Beyonce, who had gone into Sunday’s awards show with a leading nine nominations for her “Lemonade” album, won just two.
“My queen and my idol is Queen B. I adore you,” Adele said to Beyonce during her acceptance speech. “The ‘Lemonade’ album was so monumental,” she added.
Piers Morgan had earlier criticised Indian for their Rio olympics performance and Harry Potter author JK Rowling.
