It is a reality that people in Metropolitan cities are too busy to help each other when someone needed it very badly.

Such a video is viral on Instagram these days.

The video reportedly shot at a New York City subway station shows a woman with her head stuck between the doors of a subway.

What disturbing in it is that not a single commuter passed by her came forward to help her to release her head from it.

The video went viral with over 1,200,000 people viewed within 12 hours of posting. It is assumed that the video was taken by a passenger on a train opposite it.

Social media users blamed commuters and officials for not helping the middle-aged woman.

"No one helped this lady. Shame on them," comments one person.

"The fact that no one stopped to help is alarming,” says another one.

Some others also blamed the videographer who refused to go out and held her instead of taking video of it and putting on social media.

There’s a human being behind a ‘camera’ filming the whole thing...instead of helping this woman...Nothing should have that much control over you, to where you don’t even help people
