A 23-year-old BA student from Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh stabbed herself inside a bank after she failed to withdraw money from her account for 15 continues days.
Girja tried to commit suicide after she failed to collect money needed to buy her medicine. Reports said she was suffering from a 'chronicle illness.'
The girl was rushed to a primary health centre after she injured herself at a State Bank of India branch.

Police said that Girja was taking rounds in the bank for past few days to get her money sanctioned.

When she was told to on Tuesday to complete her KYC formalities, she took out a knife from her bag and stabbed herself.
The bank manager said there was a shortage of KYC forms in the bank as a huge number of people came and collected it after demonetisation.
