Zahida Irshad Khan, the 28-year-old wife of Yasin Bhatkal who was sentenced to death on Monday for his involvement in 2013 Hyderabad twin blasts, said that she is living in utter penury and is left with no choice to commit suicide after killing her ten-children because of hunger. Zahida said this to an interview with Mail Today.
She said that she is running out of cash and all are her children dying slowly of hunger. She added that her elder daughter is running high fever and is no money to treat her.

She takes care of ten children. Some of them belong to her and Bhatkal. She, though, expressed shock in the judgement said that she is sure that her husband is innocent and is not a terrorist.
Zahida is living on charity and has no regular source of income. She earlier worked as an Urdu teacher, but lost the job once Yasin Bhatkal was charged with the terror charges.
She was married to Bhatkal in 2010. Her father Mohammad Irshad Khan (anoter IM operative arrested in 2011 for running an illegal arms factory in Meer Vihar in outer Delhi, introduced Bhatkal please for his scholarship in Islam and spiritual fervour. Zahida and her mother were not aware of the real activities of Irshad and Yasin and were believed that they were running some kind of a manufacturing unit.
Yasan Bhatkal, real name Mohammed Ahmed Siddibappa, is co-founder of banned organisation Indian Mujahideen. He was arrested from Indo-Nepal border in Bihar in August 2013 for his role in Hyderabad twin blasts which killed 18 people. He was charged for waging war against the country and NIA court on Monday sentenced him along with four other IM operatives to death.
