A four year old student was ‘held hostage’ in school for hours after his parents could not pay the fees on time in Uttar Pradesh. And ever since the incident came to light, the principal and the owner of the school have been absconding after the parents accused the two of allowing such an act to take place.
On Friday after the school hours, Abhay Solanki, a student of the nursery class in the Ashok Public and Senior Secondary school, was held in the classroom though everyone left. As the boy did not reach home even after the hours, the frantic parents reached the school to learn that their son was detained, reports NDTV.
School authorities admitted that they had detained little Abhay and confessed that they thought they would only send him back home after his parents reached the school and made the fees payment.
Abhay’s father, working as a farmer had already informed the school that they would pay the fees as fast as possible.
