Madhya Pradesh Congress believes ‘Vaastu dosh’ in party office toilets reason for their poll failures for 14 years

The Congress party has lost every state assembly election in Madhya Pradesh over the last 14 years and the state Congress believes that incorrect Vaastu was to blame for the party’s loss in the elections. According to the chief spokesperson for Madhya Pradesh Congress, KK Mishra, a Vaastu expert had found that all the toilets on the third floor of the party headquarters in Bhopal face the wrong side.

“There is Vaastu dosh in the building,” Mishra told NDTV. The Vaastu expert has asked the party to fix the flaw, saying the toilets should not face east. He has been reportedly surveying Indira Bhawan since 2003.

Mishra said that the party needed the support of the public to dislodge the BJP in the next election, “But we also seek divine intervention.” “There is Vaastu dosh in the building...” the Congress leader said.

He added they will get the restrooms renovated so they face a Vaastu-compliant direction.

BJP, though they claims it will not help the Congress earn a win in Madhya Pradesh, defended the Congress’ move to make the building Vaastu-friendly.

“I don’t think this is superstition. These are all Vedic sciences. But I don’t think this is going to benefit the Congress. They will have to come clean on their character first,” BJP’s state unit spokesperson Hitesh Bajpai said.

Currently, the BJP has 165 MLAs and the Congress 58 in the 231-seat in Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
