With things are going happily for the Baahubali 2 release, the makers of the film have faced with a roadblock in releasing the movie in Karnataka. The many attempts to thwart Karnataka Film Chamber ban on the release have went vain even after the director of the movie SS Rajamouli met with senior actor Ambareesh on Wednesday.
The film has run into a blanket ban in Karnataka and pro-Kannada organisations under the umbrella of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike have called for a state-wide bandh on the release date of the movie. The movie is all set to release in india on 28 April.
Meanwhile, the situation that led to the ban of the movie in Karnataka is the presence of 'Kattappa'. The actor Satyaraj who plays the significant role of Kattappa has irked the chamber.
Karnataka Film Chamber President Sa Ra Govind said that they won't move an inch from their decision unless Satyaraj should come and apologize before the people of Karnataka. The apology should be for calling Kannadigas to dogs while during the Cauvery issue.
"He had called us dogs during Cauvery issue and we want a public apology from the actor. Otherwise, the chamber will move on withouotu any change in the decision," Sa Ra Govind
Karnataka Rakshine Vedike is too firm on their stand. Meanwhile, the makers are trying everything to revert the ban on the release of the film in Karnataka.
