Speculations were always high when Kamal Haasan came up with something to speak something about his political debut. On Thursday hinting at his entry into a new phase of his career by entering politics, the superstar asked people to “Be prepared. Will tell everything on November 7 (birthday)”
The 63 year old actor had already on various occasions revealed his intention to join politics to “change the existing system”. As part of which he began meeting up top politicians and began being a part of political meetings within the state.
“I understand that there is an army of youngsters waiting out there. The youth force should be coordinated and I am of the belief that I am duty bound to unite them. So, on November 7, I will announce a method by which I can communicate with them”, Kamal wrote in his weekly column in a Tamil weekly.
People expect a new phase of communication channel will be created on 7 November, on the occasion of his birthday. A dormant social media user, he had been active on Twitter since a year, stating his opinion and indirectly giving his political stand.
Suggesting that pleading with the government of the day would not work anymore, Kamal said time has come for performing a “surgery” but warned that any kind of “armed revolution” will bear no fruit since it involved more loss of humans.
“I welcome people who feel a sense of duty towards Tamil Nadu and those you who think it (working with him) as a sacrifice, please stay away, I don’t want to be indebted to you,” the actor said. Kamal in politics - hints at a major announcement on Nov.
