Bolt ends his final race in tears; World’s fastest man thanks his fans, ‘Infinite love for my fans’

Print superstar Usain Bolt ended his illustrious career in agony as he injured himself while running the last lap of the 4x100m relay race in the World Championships in London.

Bolt, who was anchoring the Jamaican team, limped after running a few meters and fell down on the ground in pain, holding his head with both hands in dejection.

Britain won the gold in 37.47 seconds while United States (37.52) and Japan (388.04) took the silver and bronze respectively.

Though his last race ended in a disappoiting manner, he thanked his fans on social media. The world’s fastest man wrote on Instagram: “Thank You my peeps. Infinite love for my fans”.

Forte, his teammate, meanwhile, revealed that Trump has apologised to them several time after the incident.

“He kept apologising to us but we told him there was no need to apologise. Injuries are part of the sport”, he said.

McLeod said that it just happened and Usain Bolt’s name will always live on.

“ Bolt pulled up injury during the final leg of 4×100 metres relay at the World Championships.”, he said.

Thousands of Bolt fans have also shared their love for the sprinter on social media.
