It has always remained a doubt to all the people if transgenders could get pregnant and if so could they giver birth to children. as the number of cases increase where children are taken to specialists because they are confused about their gender, here arises a report of a transgender man who has given birth to a baby boy in the US.
Trystan Reese, from Portland, Oregon, was born a female but started taking hormones almost a decade ago for gender transformation. Reese says he stopped taking hormones when he got pregnant with his son Leo. Reese always wanted to have children of his own and was heart broken the last time he had a miscarriage.
Leo is the first biological child of Reese and his husband, Biff Chaplow, who already have two adopted children. "I would say it's unique. I understand that people are not used to two men having a biological child," Mr Reese told Fox News.
Thought he couple received backlashes for their decision from online users, they were whole hardheartedly supported by their family and friends. The news comes only months after the first transgender man gave birth in the UK.
21 year old Hayden Cross covered the pages of media around the world when he announced he was pregnant by a sperm donor, three years after becoming legally male through gender reassignment.
