Eight Muslims decided to make their annual Hajj pilgrimage on bikes 

While Muslims from around the world are saving up and thinking of ways to make money to grab their flight tickets at the earliest, these 8 muslims from Britain have decided to go all the way till Mecca on their bikes.

These men have already begun their journey to the holy city of Mecca, reports Ilfeed.

They started their journey from the East London Mosque in the United Kingdom. They will bike through France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Greece.

From Greece, they will travel by ship from to Egypt and finally, Saudi Arabia due to security reasons.

They intend to raise £1m(8 crore) for victims of the Syrian war. The trip, which should last for six weeks, is expected to over 2,000 miles.

In Nigeria, a deadline for payments has been fixed by the Kwara Pilgrims Board.

Hajj will begin on August 30th and end by 4 September, 2017.
